2 property websites, 2 different approaches
Find recently completed two websites for two very different and driven property companies, one was a high-end design and build company in London and the other a reputable Glasgow based letting agency. Here’s how we approached each brand.
Warr + Webb specialise in the design and construction of high-end luxury properties in and around London. Their portfolio of exclusive residential and commercial developments includes many iconic London landmarks. They required a very precise strategy for branding and website. The passion they demonstrated for their work shone through and made it easy to understand where they were coming from, from the first meetings.
Their new branding, website and social media presence needed to match the sophistication and high net worth of their clients. After an in-depth consultation and research period, an ultra-minimal and highly stylistic user interface that reflects Warr + Webb’s values was chosen. Style, aesthetic, and clean, uncluttered and visually led design was key as the medium very much is the message, when you are dealing with customers investing in quality and style of build in construction and refurbishment projects.
Creating the right look and feel online isn’t just about the website but how a brand communicates to its target audience. A brand with such a wealth of premium photography allows us to let the images do the talking, so setting up Insta and Pinterest is a priority. Posting regular articles on LinkedIn updating followers of the progress of all their new work is also a way to show their high standards of craftmanship.
A short time after signing off Warr+Webb’s site we delivered another carefully crafted website in the property sector, this time for West End Lettings. This had a very different approach. There was a lot of important information that needed communicating in a way that was not confusing, so navigation was a cornerstone for success with this site. We condensed the messaging too, in ways that made it easy to follow. With a project like this we start by discussing brand, market position and target customers, before looking into content, user journey and timescales. For branding, websites and marketing services we advise never jumping in before doing the essential groundwork.
Under the brand banner, we worked closely with the business owner, Kirsty Smith, to explore the logo design, colour scheme, images and brand guidelines. We delivered a wireframe before starting the build so there were no surprises about how the site connected up, the content required and user journeys for the customers.
making the client happy
Kirsty said on completion:“…thanks so much. You’ve been great to deal with, really happy!”
Feedback like this is what we work for. We always want to make sure the client is happy and feels like the website represents not only what they are doing, but how they feel, how they work and is unique to them.
Our developers are highly skilled and work closely with our clients to ensure smooth and robust site functionality. We’re firm believers in a strategy-first, consultative approach and are extremely experienced when it comes to branding, designing and launching new websites.
